Hot Topic Politics

Hot Topic PoliticsThe current presidential elections in the Philippines and in other countries across the globe have brought hot topic politics to the fore. In fact, it is the hottest topic in recent history. The Philippines is home to some of the most colorful personalities that have captivated the world.People everywhere can't ignore what's happening in the Philippines. From online discussions, we get to see how important this election is for the country. And as I am writing this article, there is still no end to the election coverage that is going on around the country.Because of the dramatic turn that was taken by many of the political parties during the elections, many thought that the Philippines would be an easy candidate for the presidency. But instead, what has happened in the Philippines is that the election has led to a more sophisticated politics. And no wonder, considering the fact that a lot of Philippine citizens are sick and tired of their leaders who are coming up wi th less than the best. The candidates that are running for president of the Philippines are some of the least qualified to become the head of state. With all due respect to Senator Grace Poe, who is the front runner in this election, she still has not shown enough proof that she is qualified to be president. On the other hand, former first lady and senatorial candidate Leni Robredo has also been considered as a front runner. Then there is former congressman Joe Betts, who may have made a stir during the earlier elections when he was tried and acquitted in the sexual harassment case involving several congressional aides. He is also considered to be the only American running for the presidential candidacy. Meanwhile, the frontrunner, Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago, is also a political novice.Aside from being at an early age, she is also a victim of these trials. So is also President Benigno Aquino III, the son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos. Aquino's youth has also been a big f actor in his popularity. Then there is Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, whose lack of experience has also brought him up in online conversations. And he is the first Filipino to be elected president of the European Parliament, despite the fact that he had no experience with politics at all. Enrile is also a former president of the Philippines and a former senator of the country.Senator Grace Poe is her rival and her frontrunner. She is probably the most qualified candidate to be a president. However, she still needs to give us her campaign finance report before the election.
